Short Bio: AC/DC are a rock and roll band who helped to influence and pioneer the styles of hard rock and heavy metal. The band's lineup has altered throughout the years. The two remaining founder members are the brothers Angus and Malcolm Young. The band has had three lead vocalists. Brian Johnson is the longest lasting, having sang for the band since 1980. The band's previous lead vocalist, Bon Scott, died in 1980. The band is responsible for two of rock's greatest albums, Back in Black and Highway to Hell. Back in Black is one of the highest grossing album's of all time. And it has contributed to AC/DC becoming one of the all time highest grossing artists.
