Short Bio: Aerosmith are a hugely popular rock band, whose
album sales make them the most successful hard rock band from the
U.S. The band were at the heart of the genesis of hard rock in the
early to mid seventies. In the early eighties the band suffered
from internal arguments and an increasing dependence on drugs and
alcohol. Only by the mid to late eighties did the band begin to
find the form of their seventies performances. The early nineties
also saw a resurgence in the band's popularity with huge hits such
as Crazy and Laving' on the Edge. The reemergence of the band has
been rated as remarkable. Still touring after forty years on the
road, the success and fan base of the band remains undimmed.
