Short Bio: The Eagles were one of the most prominent rock
slash country bands of the nineteen seventies. Their 'Hotel California'
album often makes the top 100 lists for all time best albums. The
band broke up in 1980, but since the mid 1990's they have toured
occasionly and have recorded some live albums. The Eagles are viewed
as a quintessential part of the Californian music scene. Just like
the Beach Boys, one of their title tracks 'Hotel California' illustrates
their home state.
