Short Bio: Guns N' Roses became the preeminent rock band
during the late 80's to early 90's. The band has sold over one hundred
million albums globally. Nearly half of those sales are accounted
for through their debut album, 'Appetite for Destruction'. The peak
of the band's fortunes were in the late 80's, which saw the combined
vocal force of Axl Rose and lead guitarist Slash. Discontent amongst
the band led to Slash going solo in the 90's. The lineup of the
band has changed massively over the years. Of the current members,
only Axl Rose was an original 1985 band founder.
