Short Bio: The Killers have sold over fifteen million albums,
one third of which were sold in the U.S, another third in the U.K.,
and the rest worldwide. They claim they were inspired by music from
the eighties. Their sound has often been likened to U.K alternative
rock, with many people assuming they were a UK band on a first listen.
Guitarist David Keuning listed a selection of UK bands as influences,
interesting there wasn't a U.S band in the list. The Killers have
released three albums to date, Hot Fuss, Sam's Town and Day &
Age, in 2004, 2006 and 2008. The band has performed at most major
festivals in the UK and US, and are currently working on a fourth
studio album.
