is only one year from matching their number of years. When it comes
to the bassist, Metallica is now on it's fourth member. Metallica's

'Master of Puppets', released in 1986, has garnered plenty of critical
acclaim over the years. By the end of the 80's, Metallica had moved
away from thrash metal to mainstream heavy metal. Of recent years,
the band is noted for it's strong criticism of file sharing, filing
a law suit against one of the major file sharing programs.
