Short Bio: Christopher Wallace made two of the greatest
rap albums ever, which are often rated within the top 100 albums
ever made. Ready to Die in 1994 and Life After Death in 1997. He
was murdered on the 9th of March, 1997, at the age of twenty four.
He had been involved in an ongoing feud with members of the West
Coast rap scene, and was murdered whilst visiting the West Coast,
in Los Angeles, California. Before Christopher Wallace released
Ready to Die, the mainstream rap scene was dominated by West Coast
rappers. His success elevated the visibility of rappers from the
East Coast, and New York in particular. MTV placed him as third
on their list of best ever MCs, but to many, nobody could equal
his style and flow of rapping. His murder still remains unsolved.
