rap and hip hop genre. Rated as one of the greatest ever rappers,
he has become a cultural icon to many fans around the globe. His
murder in Las Vegas, on the 13th of September 13, 1996, was at the
age of twenty five. Tupac had previously spent time in prison, and
has been shot before in New York City. His music often spoke of
the violence which had surrounded his youth, adolescence and current
life. His murder is still unsolved, and has led to numerous documentaries
and theories related to who may have committed the crime. Tupac
had held a rivalry with a selection of East Coast rappers, whom
he believed had committed the first shooting in New York City. With
over seventy million album sales, Tupac remains one of the most
influential music stars of any genre, and a man often equated as
a prophet to fans.
