Short Bio: Bob Marley was a reggae artist who was a part
of, and played with The Wailers. Bob Marley's music was greatly
influenced by his home nation of Jamaica, and the religion of Rastafari
which also arose from Jamaica. Bob Marley and The Wailers created
the best selling reggae album of all time, "Legend". The
album was released after Bob's death from cancer, in nineteen eighty
four. The album was a compiled list of his and Wailers most popular
songs. Bob's tragic death at a young age, is mourned alongside the
likes of Buddy Holly, with his fans wondering at the songs he may
have made if he had lived but a little longer. A cultural icon,
Bob Marley remains one of music's most iconic superstars, and the
preeminent face of reggae.
