Short Bio: Bon Jovi have been one of the most popular rock
bands of the last 30 years. The 1980's to 1990's, would probably
be described as the peak of their record sales and album production.
To date they have produced 11 studio albums, gone on numerous world
tours and have sold over one hundred and thirty million albums.
The band is named after lead singer and songwriter Jon Bon Jovi,
who wrote most of the bands songs with Richie Sambora. Bon Jovi
have recently released albums in 2007 and 2009. Their style has
altered over the years, some albums containing rock love ballads,
other hard rock, others pop rock, others heavy metal and the latest
country. The 80's image of Bon Jovi, with huge permed hair, is probably
the one which will be best remembered.
